Ancheta ROBOR. CEC Bank va contesta decizia Consiliului Concurenței

CEC Bank announced it received the motivated decision from the Competition Council regarding alleged collusion in setting ROBOR rates. Other banks, including Raiffeisen and Banca Transilvania, plan to contest this decision. CEC Bank firmly denies the accusations and intends to challenge the ruling in court, asserting compliance with legal standards. The investigation, initiated in October 2022, resulted in fines totaling 3.73 billion lei for ten banks involved in the ROBOR fixing process. The decision can be appealed within 30 days of its communication.
