Ancheta privind întâlnirea Bolojan-Tănăsescu, suspendată. Mircea Abrudean: „Nu văd motive pentru care aș da explicații suplimentare”
The Senate President, Mircea Abrudean, stated he sees no reason to provide further explanations regarding the use of his office by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. The parliamentary investigation into the meeting between Bolojan and Constitutional Court President Elena-Simina Tănăsescu was suspended after presenting surveillance footage showing their simultaneous presence in Abrudean's office for about 40 minutes. A SPP officer refused to disclose details about his duties, citing state secrecy. The meeting occurred shortly before significant Constitutional Court decisions, but both Bolojan and Tănăsescu denied discussing ongoing cases. Tănăsescu clarified that the discussion was about administrative space for the court. Abrudean acknowledged he allowed Bolojan to use his office but was unaware of the meeting's specifics.
