Anca Dragu highlighted that 95% of banking assets are managed by European-owned banks. The country’s alignment with SEPA standards demonstrates its commitment to European norms in anti-money laundering and banking supervision. The dialogue also emphasized the benefits of Moldova's European path, including institutional modernization and access to a large consumer market. Natalia Bejan from the Investment Agency noted that access to competitive markets encourages local companies to innovate and boosts exports and salaries.
