ANAR: 133 localities in 14 counties face restrictions in centralized water supply

Currently, 133 localities in 14 Romanian counties face water supply restrictions due to resource shortages, with Neamt and Bihor most affected. Additionally, 92 localities relying on wells are also impacted, particularly in Botosani. Regions like Crisana and Oltenia are traditionally drought-prone. The Danube's flow is stable but expected to rise slightly soon, with efforts underway to maintain water levels near the Cernavoda nuclear plant. Historic low flows were recorded at several stations in Bihor.
