The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) offers two free applications to help taxpayers verify their D406 SAF-T declarations. These tools allow for easier comparison of SAF-T data with VAT returns before submission, reducing errors and compliance risks. The applications were developed after identifying discrepancies during a pilot phase and aim to support voluntary compliance. They can be downloaded from the ANAF portal, and user feedback is encouraged for further improvements.
