ANAF: Fraudă cu TVA de 5 milioane EUR, peste 2.000 de mașini SH aduse din Germania în România - StartupCafe

The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has uncovered a tax fraud scheme in the second-hand car trade, causing an estimated loss of over 26 million lei. Inspections in several counties revealed that more than 2,000 vehicles were introduced into the Romanian market through a mechanism involving 'missing trader' companies from Hungary and Slovakia. ANAF has taken measures to recover 21.34 million lei and continues investigations to address the illicit activities. The agency emphasizes its commitment to combating complex tax fraud through risk analysis and international cooperation.
