ANAF demarează controale la 180 de case de schimb valutar

The ANAF Antifraud Department has launched a nationwide operation to verify currency exchange houses in Romania, focusing on compliance with tax regulations. This initiative, named Operation F.O.C.U.S., involves inspections of 180 operators across various regions. Inspectors will assess whether these businesses accurately record transactions, utilize electronic cash registers, and fulfill their tax obligations. The operation follows a pilot project that revealed significant non-compliance issues in the sector. The aim is to enhance fiscal compliance and ensure fair competition among operators adhering to legal standards. Results will be announced after the completion of the inspections.
