The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) launches Operation FOCUS, targeting 180 currency exchange units due to high tax non-compliance. This nationwide initiative follows a pilot project revealing significant fiscal risks in the sector. ANAF inspectors will assess compliance with fiscal obligations and the use of electronic cash registers. The operation aims to enhance tax compliance and ensure fair competition among businesses. Results will be shared after the completion of the checks.
