ANAF Antifraudă demarează Operaţiunea FOCUS. Inspectorii vor verifica activitatea caselor de schimb valutar

The ANAF Antifraud Department has launched Operation FOCUS, a nationwide initiative to inspect currency exchange houses. This operation will involve simultaneous checks at 180 locations across the country, following a pilot project that revealed significant tax non-compliance among selected operators. The aim is to assess adherence to fiscal obligations and prevent behaviors that could harm budget revenues and fair competition. Inspectors will focus on various compliance aspects, including the proper fiscalization of currency exchange operations and the use of electronic cash registers. The results of this operation will be shared after the inspections are completed and data is compiled.
