Amplu atac cibernetic în Letonia. Datele personale a două treimi din populație, furate
A significant cyber attack in Latvia has compromised personal data of two-thirds of the population, prompting an investigation. Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs suggested the attack may have originated from another country. Approximately 1.2 million individuals and 200,000 companies were affected, with sensitive information stolen. The authorities warned that the stolen data could be misused. Kulbergs criticized the CSDD for delayed communication regarding the incident, emphasizing the importance of IT security in government institutions.
