He charged visitors 40 euros to see the site, which was actually constructed in the early 2000s. The local authorities were also deceived, including the site in promotional materials. An investigation revealed that the structures were modern and artificially aged. The man claimed historical significance, linking it to famous figures like Julius Caesar. The municipality is seeking damages of 560,000 euros.
