Amethyst Radiotherapy has completed an 8 million euro investment program to modernize medical infrastructure across its six centers in Romania. The company replaced two linear accelerators in Bucharest and installed a second accelerator in Alba Iulia. Additionally, investments were made in CT diagnostic equipment and MRI in select centers. This modernization aims to enhance treatment precision and capacity, responding to the increasing patient numbers. Amethyst is the first Romanian radiotherapy provider to proactively replace equipment after 10 years of operation. The network treats over 30,000 cancer patients annually, integrating diagnostic, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy services.
