Americanul Ashlin Barry este noul campion mondial la ciclism pe șosea Under-23

Nineteen-year-old Ashlin Barry from the USA won the Under-23 World Road Cycling Championship in Montreal, completing a remarkable escape in the final 30 km of the race. Spanish cyclist Hector Alvarez secured the silver medal, finishing 53 seconds behind Barry, while Norway's Jesper Stiansen took bronze, crossing the line at the same time as Alvarez. Barry, who was born in Girona, Spain, and raised in Toronto, had previously finished fourth in the Under-23 time trial event.
