Madison Air Solutions has signed an agreement to acquire the German company EBM Papst for $5.4 billion, impacting its Oradea factory. The deal, announced on August 17, is pending regulatory approval and aims to enhance investment and job creation in the region. EBM Papst's Oradea facility, inaugurated in June, plans to create 500 new jobs over the next five years. Madison Air, already a long-term client of EBM Papst, appreciates its technology and talent. The acquisition will consolidate Madison Air's position in the ventilation market.
