Amenzile aplicate de CNA au fost majorate de Guvern. Posturile riscă sancţiuni de până la 440.000 de lei • Newsweek România

The Romanian government has increased fines imposed by the National Audiovisual Council (CNA) for media violations, with penalties now reaching up to 440,000 lei. This adjustment reflects inflation since the last update in 2009, aiming to maintain the effectiveness of sanctions under the Audiovisual Law. The updated fines range from 22,000 to 440,000 lei for serious violations, including illegal broadcasting and subliminal advertising. Lesser violations now incur fines between 11,000 and 220,000 lei. This regulatory change is intended to align penalties with current economic conditions and ensure compliance with legal standards.
