Inspectors confiscated 840 kg of copper and aluminum waste, issued fines exceeding 320,000 lei, and checked 110 vehicles. Authorities emphasize ongoing inspections to deter illegal burning and protect public health. The operation involved 27 personnel and resulted in 43 fines totaling 324,000 lei. The National Environmental Guard warns that such actions will continue regularly, as reports of illegal burning incidents are increasing significantly.
