The Buzau Territorial Labor Inspectorate has imposed fines exceeding 350,000 lei this year for violations of work and rest time regulations. Over 1,000 measures have been implemented following inspections. In 2026, inspectors conducted 675 control actions, identifying numerous violations and issuing 97 sanctions, including 62 fines totaling 364,000 lei. A significant portion of petitions received also highlighted issues related to work time compliance. The Inspectorate emphasizes the importance of adhering to labor laws for employee protection and to avoid severe penalties.
