Andrei Bighea, the general director of Bucharest Transport Company, announced that fines will be imposed for using speakerphone on buses and for littering. He emphasized the need for civil behavior among passengers and plans to launch a campaign to raise awareness. Mixed teams of controllers and local police will enforce regulations that already exist regarding public transport conduct. Additionally, Bighea will request the identification of more dedicated bus lanes to improve public transport efficiency, sharing his personal experience of reduced travel time on dedicated lanes.
