The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) imposed fines exceeding one million lei on Romanian seaside businesses due to various violations. Inspections revealed expired food products, dangerous toys, and improper maintenance of swimming pools. Eight businesses were temporarily suspended until issues were resolved. Approximately 200 fines and 94 warnings were issued, with over 21,000 lei worth of products removed from sale. Key violations included unauthorized service provision, inadequate product information, and poor beach operation practices.
