The ITM Alba conducted inspections from October 12-16, 2026, resulting in fines totaling 387,000 lei for construction companies. Major penalties were imposed for undeclared work, with eight individuals found employed illegally. Inspectors identified numerous violations related to salary payments, work hours, and worker safety. The campaign aimed to combat undeclared labor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. A total of 34 employers were checked, revealing 84 deficiencies and leading to 19 sanctions. Additionally, 31 units were inspected for safety compliance, resulting in 67 deficiencies and further penalties. The findings highlighted serious issues regarding employee rights and workplace safety.
