Amenzi de până la 4.000 de lei pentru comercianții care nu emit bonuri fiscale cu cod QR

Starting November 1, 2026, businesses in Romania face fines for not issuing fiscal receipts with QR codes, despite current cash registers lacking the capability to generate them. The Chamber of Fiscal Consultants warns that technical requirements for implementation are still undefined, leading to calls for a delay in penalties until November 2027. The QR code is intended to enhance verification and combat tax evasion, but without established standards, businesses cannot comply. The lack of consultation with the business environment during the regulation's introduction has raised concerns about feasibility and costs. The Chamber urges the Ministry of Finance to expedite the necessary regulations to avoid penalizing businesses for non-compliance due to technical limitations.
