SC Apa Serv Valea Jiului SA was fined after inspectors found that water from the Polatişte micro-hydropower plant was discharged without proper authorization. The inspection revealed that the wastewater was being released into the Sălătruc stream through an unauthorized channel. The company received a fine of 40,000 lei and was instructed to obtain a modification permit to comply with legal requirements.
