Amendă de 15.000 de lei pentru un operator din Arad care alimenta ilegal o baltă privată
The National Environmental Guard fined a company 15,000 lei for illegally extracting groundwater for a fish farm in Zerindu Mic, Arad County. The fine followed a complaint from local residents. Inspectors found four deep groundwater wells at the site, two of which were operating at full capacity without water meters. The company lacked the necessary water management authorization. The fine was imposed for violating water laws, and the use of the wells was prohibited until legal documents are obtained. The Guard emphasizes the importance of responsible water use amid ongoing drought conditions in Romania.
