An ambulance was violently attacked in Recea Cristur, Cluj, after false rumors spread on TikTok about child abduction. Medical staff were called for a sick patient but faced hostility from locals. When attempting to leave with the patient, the ambulance was blocked and assaulted with bats and axes, injuring the driver. The crew managed to escape and transport the patient to a hospital, while the injured driver requires three months of medical care.
