The Russian ambassador to Romania was summoned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following repeated violations of Romanian airspace. He was shown fragments of a downed Russian drone and informed that a member of the Russian embassy is declared undesirable. Romania's response includes consultations with its ambassador in Moscow and a commitment to coordinate with NATO and EU allies for national security.
