Ambasada Ucrainei răspunde în cazul clasei românești desființate la Orlivka: Cazul este verificat. „Vom prezenta reacția corespunzătoare”

The Ukrainian Embassy in Bucharest responded to the closure of a Romanian-language class in Orlivka, Odesa, shortly after the school year began. They stated that Ukrainian institutions are investigating the situation and emphasized that this case should not be generalized to Ukraine's minority rights policies. The closure, which occurred just four days after opening, was reportedly influenced by pressure on parents to switch their children to Ukrainian classes. The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is seeking clarification and a solution to allow continued education in Romanian. The Ukrainian Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to minority rights and education, highlighting that it maintains schools for minority languages, including Romanian, despite the ongoing war.
