Romania and Serbia are discussing new transport connections, including a direct highway from Timișoara to Belgrade. The meeting between transport ministers will address the construction of the Pančevo-Vršac-Vatin-Timișoara highway, solutions for Serbian drivers in Schengen, and a special connection for the Belgrade 2027 World Expo. Additionally, they will explore the revival of international train services and navigation safety on the Danube. The Timișoara-Moravița highway project is divided into two lots, with a total length of about 70 kilometers, and aims to enhance connectivity with Serbia.
