Authorities are continuing the operation to sink two more barges in the Danube to redirect water flow towards the Bala arm, aiming to extend the operational time of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. The current Danube flow is at a historic low, but a slight increase is expected soon, which will help prolong the plant's operation. The Minister of Transport inspected the site where the barges were sunk to support this initiative.
