Parental leave compensation is calculated at 85% of the average net income from the past year, ranging from approximately 1,651 lei to 8,500 lei. The insertion incentive supports parents returning to work, offering 1,500 lei monthly if they return before the child is 6 months old, and 650 lei for later returns, with specific conditions for children with disabilities.
