Inspectors checked compliance with consumer protection laws, identifying non-conformities that could endanger consumer health and safety. They issued 792 fines totaling over 3.5 million lei and found numerous issues, including expired food products, improper storage conditions, and non-compliant toys. The inspections revealed significant discrepancies in pricing and product quality, leading to the temporary and permanent withdrawal of several items from sale.
