Alexandru Petrescu, head of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF), noted that these results indicate a strengthening role of the capital market in the Romanian economy. However, he cautioned that the broader economic context remains under pressure from inflation and geopolitical uncertainties. The ASF emphasizes the importance of a transparent and orderly market to enhance investor participation and provide better financing options for companies.
