Alexandru Nazare cere reguli europene adaptate pentru piețele în dezvoltare: Integrarea nu trebuie măsurată doar prin centralizare

Romania's interim Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare advocated for increased capital for Romanian companies and a supportive European regulatory framework during the ECOFIN meeting. He emphasized the need for a European agreement on the MISP legislative package aimed at capital market integration and oversight. Nazare highlighted that the success of integration should be measured by real financing opportunities rather than just centralized rules. Romania also pushed for stronger national supervisory authority powers and access to investor transaction information across EU markets. Additionally, he called for a fair calculation method for national contributions to the ESMA, reflecting the actual market size and activity.
