Alexandru Nazare: Am cerut la ECOFIN mai mult capital pentru companiile româneşti şi reguli europene care să funcţioneze pentru pieţele în curs de dezvoltare - Economica.net
Romania has requested at the ECOFIN meeting that the integration of European capital markets should enhance access to financing for Romanian companies, considering the specificities of developing markets. Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare emphasized the need for more capital and European rules that cater to these markets. He highlighted the importance of creating real financing opportunities rather than merely centralizing regulations. Romania aims for stronger national supervisory authority powers and easier cross-border activities in capital markets. Additionally, access to information on cross-border transactions for Romanian investors was discussed, along with a fairer contribution formula for national authorities to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Nazare stressed the necessity of attracting more private capital into the economy.
