Alertă sanitară în Franța: Peste 40.000 de prezervative neconforme au fost vândute online. Autoritățile îndeamnă cumpărătorii să se testeze pentru boli cu transmitere sexuală
Over 40,000 non-compliant condoms were sold online in France, prompting health authorities to recommend testing for sexually transmitted infections. The French consumer protection agency and health directorate warned of serious health risks associated with these products, including unwanted pregnancies and STIs. Investigations revealed around 30 types of condoms lacking the mandatory CE mark, primarily sold by Asian vendors on major online platforms. Additionally, two defective CE-marked products were found in stores. This alert follows a broader European operation that uncovered over 200,000 counterfeit condoms. The rise in STIs, particularly gonorrhea, has been alarming, with nearly 100,000 cases reported in 2023, marking a significant increase since 2014.
