Alertă pe o insulă din Croația unde un incendiu a mistuit deja 3.000 de hectare

Croatian authorities activated an alert system due to a major forest fire threatening the town of Milna on Brac Island. Firefighters, facing strong winds, have struggled to control the blaze that started on Thursday, burning around 3,000 hectares. Despite mobilizing nearly 180 firefighters and additional resources, the fire continues to approach residential areas. Croatia has experienced extreme heat and drought this summer, exacerbating wildfire conditions. Earlier in August, a severe fire near Omiš resulted in fatalities and significant property damage.
