Coastal areas from New Jersey to Massachusetts are expected to face flooding, high winds, and dangerous maritime conditions. Rainfall could reach up to 13 centimeters in parts of eastern Massachusetts, while gusts may exceed 100 km/h in New England. The storm has already caused flooding in parts of North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. Concerts by Ed Sheeran have been canceled due to weather conditions, and the Global Citizen festival in New York remains scheduled. These storms, known as 'nor'easters', are common in the region, especially from fall to early spring.
