Alertă la o centrală nucleară din Japonia. Un reactor a fost oprit

A reactor at the Onagawa nuclear power plant in Japan was shut down due to a small leak of radioactive water. The operator, Tohoku Electric Power, confirmed that the leak was contained and did not affect the environment. The reactor was stopped for safety checks and component replacements after the leak was detected in early September. The company reported that the leak rate was about 200 liters per hour, but the reactor maintained stable water levels necessary for cooling. This incident follows previous issues at the plant, including a radioactive steam leak earlier this year. The shutdown is expected to last around 10 days for repairs and safety upgrades.
