Alertă în SUA: a avut loc unul dintre cele mai extinse atacuri cibernetice asupra infrastructurii de apă din SUA din ultimii ani

Multiple U.S. federal agencies have warned about unidentified hackers attempting to compromise Siemens devices used in critical water infrastructure, amid a surge of cyberattacks on local water systems. This represents the most extensive cyber campaign against U.S. water infrastructure in recent years, targeting at least 100 facilities across 12 states. The alert covers all Siemens S7 programmable logic controllers, crucial for various sectors. Authorities caution that compromising these devices could disrupt critical processes and compromise sensitive data. The warning follows a notable increase in attacks on industrial controllers, with some incidents potentially linked to Iranian hackers.
