The first confirmed flu death of the season occurred in Cluj County, involving an unvaccinated man with pre-existing health conditions. The National Institute of Public Health reported 201 clinical flu cases and 12 laboratory-confirmed cases nationwide. Respiratory infections have increased slightly compared to the previous week, with a total of 82,363 cases reported. Vaccination efforts continue, with over 256,000 flu vaccinations recorded so far this season.
