On Monday morning, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense detected intermittent signals in Moldova's airspace, believed to be from an unidentified drone from Ukraine. An IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter and two F-16s were deployed for monitoring, but no debris was found in Romania. The drone crossed into Moldova's airspace and was tracked leaving towards Romania shortly after. The situation prompted a temporary restriction of airspace in southern Moldova, which was later lifted. Authorities continue to monitor the airspace for safety.
