Alertă energetică în august. Risc crescut de pene de curent

The Romanian government declared a national energy alert for August due to drought and low Danube water levels affecting energy production. This measure allows for rapid intervention but does not automatically impose restrictions. The government allocated funds for temporary works on the Danube to ensure safe operation of the Cernavodă nuclear plant. Authorities are urging energy producers to operate at maximum capacity and asking the public to voluntarily reduce evening energy consumption. While the risk of power outages is high, they are not deemed inevitable. Romania is also seeking to provide temporary electricity assistance to Ukraine.
