Alertă aeriană la granița României: Mesaj RO-Alert în Tulcea și avioane F-18 ridicate de la Mihail Kogălniceanu

On the night of September 25-26, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense's radar system detected an aerial target near Vâlkove, Ukraine, close to the Romanian border. The National Military Command Center informed the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to alert the population in northern Tulcea County, sending a RO-Alert message at 00:15. Two Spanish F-18 aircraft were deployed from Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base to monitor the situation. The air alert ended at 01:30, with no breaches reported in national airspace.
