An air alert was issued in northern Tulcea County after a target was detected near the Ukrainian border. The Romanian Ministry of National Defense reported the detection on the night of September 25-26. F-18 aircraft from the Spanish Air Force were deployed to monitor the situation. The alert ended without any breaches of national airspace. This incident follows a similar alert earlier that day, with no violations reported. Since the start of the Ukraine war, there have been numerous incidents prompting military monitoring, including unauthorized entries into national airspace.
