ALERTĂ

An air alert was issued in Tulcea after a target was detected near the Romanian border. Spanish F-18s were deployed for monitoring. The Romanian Ministry of National Defense confirmed the detection of an aerial target in eastern Ukraine, prompting the alert. The RO-Alert message was sent to the population at 00:35, but no breach of Romanian airspace was reported. The alert was lifted shortly after.
