Alegerile anticipate ar putea împinge România spre „junk”. Daniel Dăianu: „Ne jucăm cu focul. Prima urgență a țării este să avem guvern”

Daniel Dăianu warns that organizing early elections in Romania could prolong political instability and risk a downgrade in the country's credit rating. He emphasizes the urgent need for a stable government, especially with S&P's upcoming rating decision. Dăianu believes that S&P will prioritize government formation and economic policy over immediate downgrades. Currently, Romania holds a BBB-/A-3 rating with a negative outlook, and a downgrade would classify it as 'junk'. He also notes that the designated Prime Minister, Siegfried Mureșan, requires support from the PSD party to form a government. Dăianu predicts a 1% economic contraction this year, with a recovery expected in 2027.
