An Albanian citizen, 48, wanted for serious crimes including murder and drug trafficking, was arrested near the Calafat-Vidin toll booth while using a false identity. He was sought after an international arrest warrant was issued by Albanian authorities. The man is accused of premeditated murder and illegal possession of weapons and drugs, linked to an organized crime group. Following his arrest, he was taken into custody by Romanian police and presented to the Court of Appeal in Craiova, which issued a detention order.
