Albalact pierde definitiv procesul cu Consiliul Concurenței / Amendă de aproape 10 milioane de lei / S-a încercat blocarea unei inspecții

Albalact has been fined 9.91 million lei by the Bucharest Tribunal for obstructing a competition inspection. The fine, equivalent to about 2 million euros, was upheld after the company denied inspectors access to necessary information during an investigation into potential price-fixing in the butter market. This ruling concludes the legal dispute regarding the sanction imposed by the Competition Council. The inspection, conducted in March 2023, also involved other dairy companies. The fine is specifically for the refusal to provide requested information, not for any price-fixing agreement.
