Despite the fine, no verdict has been reached regarding any anti-competitive agreements among the companies involved. The Competition Council confirmed the fine after the Bucharest Tribunal's ruling, which focused on Albalact's refusal to provide access to certain information during the inspection. Other companies in the Lactalis group also faced fines, totaling around 14 million lei. The investigation continues, with no final decision on the alleged price-fixing yet made public.
