Alba County has six new crèches built under the government program "Sfânta Ana," providing 310 places for children. The latest crèche was inaugurated in Blaj, and a seventh is under construction in Ighiu. Nationally, the program has completed 113 crèches, creating 6,730 places for preschoolers, with a total investment of nearly 1.8 billion lei. The program will continue with state funding beyond the initial PNRR financing. The crèches feature modern facilities, including educational spaces and energy-efficient designs.
