Al-Sharaa reiterated Syria's claim over the Golan Heights, which Israel captured in 1967, and criticized Israeli military actions in Syria. He mentioned that diplomatic negotiations had nearly reached a security agreement before Israel withdrew. Regarding his political future, al-Sharaa has not decided on running for office but may consider it if necessary. He also expressed support for strengthening the Lebanese government and state institutions.
